Mrs. LaBarbera is originally from Kingsport, TN, but  lived and taught in Beaumont, TX and Greenville, SC before returning to Tennessee.  She received her undergraduate degree from King College in Bristol, TN.  She has taught every grade pre-kindergarten through fifth.  Mrs. LaBarbera went back to school in 2004 and received a Masters Degree in School Library Media and has been the Media Specialist at Lake Ridge since the 2007-2008 school year.  She is married to her husband of 14 years, Joe and they have 2 dogs.  Mrs. LaBarbera LOVES to read, especially children's books and believes that she has the best job in the world...matching kids with the perfect book.
	Mrs. Curtis has worked in the school system for many years (over 25!!) in several different capacities.  She does all the processing for our library as well as assist Mrs. LaBarbera with the many other jobs in the library.  She has a husband, one grown daughter, and a precious granddaughter who is in kindergarten.  She loves to read, camp, and ride bikes and take walks with her husband and granddaughter.  Mrs. Curtis is priceless to our library and it would not run the same without her!!
