It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome each of you
to a new and exciting year at Lake Ridge! Our first week has been marvelous. We
are larger than we anticipated, but we are making adjustments as rapidly as
possible to accommodate all our new students. Thank you for being patient with
us if your child has been effected by these changes. We are looking forward to
working with you to learn with us this school year. Our goals are to teach
children (and adults) to become lifelong learners, strive for independence and
show love, compassion, and understanding for each other as we grow together.
Please volunteer to assist in any way that you can to participate in your
child's growth and development. Even though we are a large group, it is my
belief that we can still stay "small" in that we communicate effectively with
each other and our children. Our young people will face many challenges and
opportunities in the future and they deserve the very best we can give them to
meet those challenges and opportunities. If I can be of assistance in any way,
please do not hesitate to contact me. Have a wonderful school year!
