MATERIALS WORKROOM:
The workroom facilities and
resources of Resource Central are available to all Johnson City
Schools’ employees and volunteers 16 years and older who have
been properly trained in the use of our equipment. Our equipment
and materials are available for creation of items for use in the
Johnson City Schools. We are unable to accept die-cut orders.
We offer a well-stocked, peaceful
space to come and create classroom materials. We have hundreds
of die-cuts, several die-cut machines, two laminators including
a cold mount poster laminator that works in conjunction with our
PC Poster Printer. We have a rainbow of construction paper, card
stock, poster board, and bulletin board paper colors available
as well as a variety of cutting, pasting, and decorating tools.
We have hundreds of reproducible
resources available for all grade levels on a huge variety of
topics and themes. These reproducible resources are intended for
single copies only. Classroom or school wide copies should be
made at your home campus.
TECHNOLOGY AND TRAINING LAB
We strive to offer a minimum of four
monthly in-service opportunities held in our Technology/Training
Lab. All opportunities are subject to principal approval for
in-service credit.
THE FAMILY DEPOT:
The Family Depot offers a lending
library of resources to help support families of the students of
our Johnson City Schools. We also offer scheduling of on-site
viewing of our lending library materials. Monthly workshops on
topics relevant to our families begin in September. We look
forward to expanding our Resource Central services to continue
to accommodate the needs of our system student families.
