A Message from our Principal

Welcome to Cherokee Elementary for the 2017-18 school year. I'm looking forward to another super year of learning. We are currently serving a student populaton of 400 students in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. Cherokee continues to qualify as a school-wide Title I project and we use those funds to supplement our instructional program. To stay informed of all of guidelines we use to keep Cherokee running smoothly, please read our Parent Handbook carefully. Our wish is safety and fairness for everyone and we strive for your trust and respect.

Sincerely,

Richard L. Hutson, Principal
