Seniors: If you received an invitation to the Academic Achievement Program but have not yet responded, please turn in your RSVP today by emailing Connie Reaves at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. You may also drop off your RSVP Information Sheet in the Main Office. We need your post-secondary plans and major, for the printed program.

Seniors applying for TN Scholar: Applications and at least 80 hours of community service must be turned in by end of the school day on Friday. Applications will not be accepted after Spring Break and anyone with less than 80 hours will automatically be disqualified.

SHHS Marksmanship Team

The Science Hill Marksmanship team placed 3rd overall the State Championships this weekend. The Team consisted of John Cathey, Michael Poole, Madison Greenwell and Samuel Ross. In Individual competition, Michael Terry placed first overall in the State with a score of 551 and Michael Poole placed 5th with a score of 536.

Rising 9th Grade 4-Year Plans
All rising ninth graders must attend a 4-year plan meeting. To schedule an appointment, go to: During this meeting, you, your child, and an advisor will discuss requirements for the next 4 years of high school and register for 9th grade classes. Please review the Program of Studies prior to your meeting.

Attention all underclassmen

Any student that wants to take an online class over the summer, be sure to turn your application in to The Locker during your lunch period during the month of March. Online classes are $50 each unless you are a fee waiver student. See your counselor for an application.

Online Classes

Students interested in signing up for an online class this summer should go see their counselor right away to pick up an application and learn more about how to sign up for online classes through Canvas.


Attention all students interested in fall dual enrollment for next school year: Please be aware that any students interested in taking a fall semester dual enrollment class must have the required ACT score of 19 by April 2020. Students that do not have the necessary ACT score by April 2020 will have to wait until spring 2021 to take any dual enrollment classes. Please see your counselor with any questions.


Seniors looking to go to college/university, technical school, or any post-secondary program must file their FAFSA to receive financial aid! This includes Pell Grant, TN Promise, HOPE Scholarship, and other forms of state and federal aid.
