A Message from our Principal
Welcome to Cherokee Elementary for the 2017-18 school year. I'm looking forward to another super year of learning. We are currently serving a student population of 400 students in Pre-K through 4th grade. Cherokee continues to qualify as a school-wide Title I project and we use those funds to supplement our instructional program. To stay informed of all of guidelines we use to keep Cherokee running smoothly, please read our Parent Handbook carefully. Our wish is safety and fairness for everyone and we strive for your trust and respect.

Tardies, Early Dismissal
Parents must sign students in when tardy and out when leaving school early. After three unexcused tardies, students will serve time missed at his/her teacher's discretion.
Parents should call the office when students are absent. Work may be picked up in the office. Please call by 9:00 am to give the teacher plenty of time to get the work together.
