Medication Administration at Schools

Special Conditions:  If your child has special medical conditions, the nursing staff is required to have doctor's orders updated annually.  Special conditions include diabetes, seizure disorder, asthma, and anaphylaxis allergies.

Head Lice

If your child has been sent home for head lice, please note that your child may not be re-admitted to school until:

  1. Medicated shampoo has been used and all lice have been removed.
  2. Child has been checked and released by school-base nurse/designee.

Requirements for treatment and return to school should take no longer than two days.
