ART
Students experience a variety of art related disciplines in the visual arts program at Mountain View Elementary School. Students in grades K-5 work in different mediums including drawing using various tools and equipment, painting, weaving, inkle looms, clay sculpture, hand built pottery, wheel thrown pottery, marbled paper, handmade and recycled paper. An important part of the art program includes art history and aesthetics. Using books, prints, timelines, and computer programs students learn and experience the art of famous artists throughout the many art periods.
