The Mountain View Strings program includes forty students in grades three through five.  Students are provided violin, cello and bass lessons during the school day by the Academy of Strings.  Students play classical and modern pieces of music.  Our orchestra has performed at various venues in Johnson City.  Many of our students continue in orchestra at the middle and high school levels.

The students practice before school.  Mr. and Mrs. Barrett direct lessons twice each week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

These students really enjoy orchestra.
