If you are currently taking one of the theatre classes, your activities and homework should be listed here.

In-CLASS Activities, HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS, or Events:

 

          PLEASE NOTE: If you are absent from class for any reason, it is your responsibility to make up any missing assignments, tests, quizzes, or projects. If you know you will be absent on the day of a scheduled presentation or performance, you must make arrangements with the instructor to switch days with another student. If you are absent and miss the performance, you will receive only partial credit (75% being the highest possible) for making up your part after school without your group.

          If you are absent from class, you will have three days from the date you return to do any makeup work. THERE ARE NO LATE GRADES FOR WORK THIS SEMESTER!

 

 

Theatre I

This week:

M: Give out vocabulary list E words; cover rules for BBYD scenes; assign scenes and cast members; rehearse scenes;

T: Read chapter 9 on planes and levels; work on scenes with partners in assigned spaces;

W: Give vocabulary E review sheet;do activity 2, p. 166;

X: Do activity 3, p. 166. Use magazine pictures; mark scripts for use of levels and planes for rehearsed scenes;

F: Give vocab. quiz E; answer questions under "Focus on Facts;" rehearse BBYD scenes with partners.

 

 

Creative Drama

This week:

M: Assign vocabulary list 1; hand out "Annie" worksheet 1; begin watching "Annie;"

T: Collect 2nd character analysis; collect handout 1; continue "Annie" with worksheet 2;

W: Handout worksheet 3 and continue "Annie;"

X: Conclude "Annie;"

F: Vocabulary Terms 1 Quiz; work on dialogues individually or with a partner.
