Theatre Arts I

The fine arts elective course for ninth graders is Theatre Arts I. It is a "block" class, lasting 90 minutes. This semester-length course provides students with individual, small group, and large group theatre experiences. This class gives students an opportunity to experience both onstage roles as well as backstage crew positions.

There is a $15 fee for all participants of this course. Checks should be made payable to SHHS 8/9 Drama Department.

The ninth graders are currently preparing for a theatre history presentation for the rest of their class. They will be covering Greek history through contemporary American productions.
