Was the girls physical education teacher and coached the cheerleaders for more than three decades.

According to one of her former cheerleaders she made it an honor to be a Science Hill cheerleader. I think everyone who ever cheered for her would say that. At the time you might not have liked the way she was doing this or that, but you knew that she was doing what she thought was right.

She was strict. We had to learn about football too because her cheers had to coincide with what was going on on the field.

As far I knew, everyone loved her to death -- even if they got aggravated with her.

Plowboy Farmer was the grandfather of Science Hill Football Jo Presnell was the matriarch of the entire Science Hill female athletic program.
