Randolph Adams Honorary Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. The student must be enrolled in eight consecutive terms of choir.  Four of which must include all of your senior year.

  2. The student must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  3. The student must be majoring or minoring in music.

  4. This scholarship may be used at the school of their choice.

  5. The scholarship will be based on merit:
    a.  Citizenship
    b.  Talent
    c.  Leadership
    d.  Personal Discipline
    e.  Commitment
    f.  Personal Integrity

  6. The scholarship is also based on need as relates to other scholarships already awarded.

  7. In order for this scholarship to be renewable for four years, the recipient must continue to meet the same criteria that applied when the scholarship was originally awarded.

  8. The Choral Director, a non-applicant from the student executive committee, and the President of the Choral Booster's Association will decide upon the recipient or recipients.

  9. This scholarship is designed to encourage those who plan to major or minor in music to do so.  Persons who receive the scholarship, who drop their major or minor will forfeit the scholarship and will refund it to the Choral Booster Association.

  10. The scholarship check will be made out to the recipient.  It is our hope that this money will go toward furthering the recipient's music education.

  11. The application deadline is May 1, and must be returned to the Choral Director only.
