Class Rules

• Respect

  • Respect everyone in the classroom.  They deserve respect and so do you. 

  • Respect everyone at the school including the principals, teachers, assistants, secretaries, custodians, and bus drivers.

  • Respect the school.  If you make the school dirty and unsafe, you will be the one to see it everyday.  Keep the school buildings clean.

  • Respect the lab.  When the lab is not respected things get broken and/or people get hurt.  The equipment in the lab is expensive and not easily replaced.  Without lab equipment we cannot conduct class.

  • Respect yourself.  You deserve respect and should be willing to receive and give respect equally.

• Class begins and ends with all students seated in the center of the classroom.

  • All students are to sit in their assigned seats in the center of the classroom until the teacher has called role and dismissed students to their modules.  Students will take their chair to the modules in which they are working and return their chair to the center of the room at the end of class.

• Keep lab equipment at the labs.

  • All students are responsible for the equipment at their module.  When you arrive make sure that all of the equipment is in the correct place within the module.  At the end of class return all equipment to its proper place.  Any missing equipment will be that the responsibility of the student.

• Follow all safety rules.  (See Safety Rules)

• Have fun.

  • This class is made up of hands on labs and has a lot of moving around and working together.  Make it fun and enjoy yourself while still learning and following the rules.
