Attention Johnson City, TN Residents:
Johnson City Schools is attempting to locate and identify children ages 3-22 with disabilities and children suspected of having a disability. The child must live in the city limits of Johnson City. Please contact the Office of Special Programs at 423-434-5235 to schedule a screening to determine if an evaluation is needed. Areas of disability are:
Autism, Deaf-Blindness, Deaf/Hearing Impaired, Developmentally Delayed, Emotional Disturbance, Functionally Delayed, Intellectually Gifted, Multiple Disabilities, Other Health Impaired, Orthopedic Impairment, Specific Learning Disability, Speech or Language Impairment, Traumatic Brain Injury, Visual Impairment.
Johnson City Schools to provide free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and under
Johnson City Schools is pleased to announce that with the action taken by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), free breakfast and lunch will be provided to any child 18 and under until June 22, 2022. Click here for more information.
