Vision
The vision of the Johnson City Schools English Learner (EL) team is to support English Learners and their families by providing focused support with the social, emotional, cultural, linguistic, and academic skills necessary to excel in higher education, work, and life.
Our Commitment
- Achieve the district's established achievement goals for our EL students.
- Provide direct EL services to ELs based on their language proficiency needs.
- Develop non-English language background students' social and emotional knowledge while valuing their cultural identity.
- Engage EL families in the educational process.
