JCS Virtual Learning Program

Any applications that are submitted at this point will be considered for Spring 2024 admission. 

The JCS Virtual Program will be a program offered through Science Hill High School and through Liberty Bell Middle School. Students in grades 6-8 will be enrolled at LBMS and students in grades 9-12 will be enrolled at SHHS but they will receive their instruction through Tennessee-certified teachers employed by Pearson Education. An interest application does not guarantee acceptance. The Virtual Program will review interested applicants at end of semester for the next semester.

The following factors are taken into consideration when reviewing applicants for approval or denial to program:
● Attendance: A record of poor attendance indicates poor performance for virtual program learners.
● Grades: Poor grades indicate that students will struggle with a more independent learning environment.
● Low Credits: Students who are behind on credits are generally not accepted.
