Dr. Tiffany Hibbitts named principal at Lake Ridge Elementary

Johnson City Schools Superintendent Dr. Steve Barnett announced that longtime District Math Curriculum Specialist Dr. Tiffany Hibbitts will become the principal of Lake Ridge Elementary.

"We are excited for Dr. Tiffany Hibbitts to become the new principal of Lake Ridge Elementary School,” Barnett said. “Dr. Hibbitts is a dedicated educator and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her new role. I am confident that Lake Ridge will continue to thrive and achieve great success under her leadership."

Hibbitts is completing her 19th year in education and has served as a District Math Curriculum Specialist since 2018. Before moving into that role, she taught fifth grade at Indian Trail Intermediate School from 2013 to 2018. Hibbitts earned her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands (2022). She also holds a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University (2020), and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise (2005).
